With more than 25 years’ experience in public and non-profit sectors at the director level, Pat has a unique insight into what it takes to get things done. His proven success at working effectively across public and private sectors is coupled with deep understanding and experience in integrating planning, funding and partnering for permissions and deal funding.
Pat’s in-depth knowledge has produced many accomplishments in the areas of policy development, government relations and public affairs related to economic development, transportation infrastructure and business climate issues in the state of Washington.
Prior to Jones Strategic, Pat served in director-level roles at the Port of Seattle and at the American Association of Port Authorities, where he represented all US ports before the US Congress and executive agencies. He also served at the helm of the influential trade association, Washington Public Ports Association, for 17 years. Pat has represented large institutions and complex issues as a strategist, analyst, advocate, negotiator and communicator. Additionally, he played a vital role in the development and execution of the SeaTac third runway project.
Larry brings to Jones Strategic a deep background in executive recruiting—with an emphasis on recruiting key staff at hard-to-fill manager and director levels. Larry also has significant experience in Human Resources, having held roles as Director of Human Resources at both public and private organizations, including ports, shipyards and hospitals across the Pacific Northwest.
Larry has worked extensively in the area of designing and managing compensation programs. During his career he has also managed employee and labor relations and successfully negotiated union contracts. Larry has served as an Adjunct Professor at Lewis-Clark State College and at Bellingham Technical College.
Louise has broad experience in leading and managing human resources programs and issues. In addition to her proven recruiting, training and management skills, Louise brings strong experience in assessing HR challenges, developing resource-smart solutions, and focusing on continuous improvement processes that positively impact an organization’s bottom line.
Louise’s high-level HR expertise also includes deep knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, EEOC, FMLA, EEO/AAP, OSHA, and COBRA.
